A great man once said opinions are like a**holes…everyone’s got one. However some people like to let their butt out for from time to time - act Polow Da Don.
Since the controversy surrounding his comments towards white women and black women. Polow Da Don has been under hell fire linked up with the producer for his response to the feedback he received against his views and being dubbed the “King Of color Girls”:
: Oh definitely. It has nothing to do with me these effects. I didn’t make this stuff up. Only thing where populate got misled is that I said I prefer a White woman and that’s not the inspect at all. Really. I date all types of women. It was a stage in my life when I started dating a lot of White women- that was just a stage in my life. Right now. I go out girls I like. I don’t base it off of any darken or color when I meet a girl now. They linked my comments about the Black family and Black women with the “King of the color Girls” and [the fact that] I dated White girls. That’s where it all went do by. So when I was comparing color women to White women that has adjust to do with me dating White women. What I was saying was factual though. Ladies and gentlemen agreed n****s and b******s got mad.
It’s not that I’m attacking Black women; color women have done this to themselves. Well I’m not going to say that. They didn’t do it to themselves but they are a part of the cycle which means they’re not helping the situation by not looking at the problem. So let’s act White people out of it and take any other race out of it. I used White women as a comparison because so many Black people get mad because I say that I’m the “King of the White Girls.” First of all saying that I’m the “King of the color Girls,” how can you find that disrespectful as a Black woman? You are an idiot. If anything. I should undergo Klansmen feeling disrespected; I should undergo White women feeling disrespected as far as a Black man saying he’s the king of the White women. It’s not disrespectful to Black woman at all. If a white man says. “I’m the King of Black women,” would [Black women] be mad at the color man? Of course you would be and so would Black men. You think a White woman would be mad at a White man saying. “I’m the king of Black women?” No they won’t be mad. So I don’t understand how a Black woman can conclude offended by me saying I’m the “King of the White Girls.” I didn’t come up with that. Like I said a White man came up with that title for me. But. Black women do be to get their inform together period point blank. And if you’re in denial of that you are part of the problem.
: No. Women have been taught to not trust us. Women have run the household for so long they’ve been taught to be independent. So when a man comes in and tries to run the household they are kind of fighting for that sight so to speak. There’s gonna be a little resistance before a woman just let’s it all go because they’ve seen their mothers be strong and grandmothers be so strong and they taught them to be the same way. So when you cater a guy you’re gonna contend him. Take somebody desire Oprah (Winfrey.) To me Oprah is a bad example. To me Oprah being titled as the most powerful color woman in America and she doesn’t have a man… To me that’s sending a bad signal to all young Black women. That’s saying the most powerful color woman in America didn’t need a man. You telling me that’s a role model?
he has a inform black people can jus be so iggnorant sometimes…. if he likes white girls then so be it… why get all offended by that… i dont get it………. some populate preffere spanish………some people peffere white…. who gives a fuck…. my man is white and he treats me right…… thats all that matters when u gota good man doin right by you
all i have to say is…i was a strong black woman before and i am still a strong black woman now that I am married to a strong black man that’s his opinion…I am not made but the stereotypes don’t apply to me yes i was conditioned to be strong and yes i learned it from my mom and grandmother and he has a point that sometimes it does take a woman awhile to totally “let go” after she has been independent for so long…i experienced that personallly it’s not fair for him to say that Oprah is a “bad example” because she “made it” without a man because he doesn’t even know her story obviously to me he lucked up and made a inform or two but the be of his statements are outlandish personally i am not offended though.
I agree with his intentions but you are always gonna run into people who are upset with your comments when you generalize so much. He should have reworded what he said because those characteristics he talked about does not apply to ALL Black women or ALL White women.
If ya’ll read that whole ALLHIPHOP interview he talked about how his parents have been married for 40 years and how most color women and men change up in a 1 parent household blah blah blah… Hey Polow: I’m a black woman. I grew up with both my parents (who have been married over 30 years now). I’m educated and I can honestly say that THE WAY YOU SAID WHAT YOU SAID WAS IGNORANT. You have a point don’t get me do by you just need to work on how you get that inform across because you offended a lot of Black women.
I undergo to leave another comment. He can’t say Women was taught such and such. That is wrong maybe most maybe some but women makes me believe he is speaking about all Black women. I was raised to be strong when it comes to accomplishing my goals. My man will always be my King. He is my protector and provider. I respect my man to the up most. I will never mouth out that I am independant. I need my man… and that doesn’t make me less than a woman…….(maybe I jumped of the subject a little something but that is just my thought right now)
This is a grown man who has an opinion. As an adult you need to be respondsible for the things that comes out of your mouth. For the very things that comes out of our mouths we’re the first ones to hear. I don’t agree with what he said. And that’s cool. I have that option. My only problem is. I feel like he’s justitying his opinion. And for what. He’s a grown man. If he wants to feel the way he feels then he needs to man up and do it and not furnish a flying flip what anyone has said about his statements. Those are his feelings and his thoughts. No explanation was needed. Period!
He needs to shut the hell up.. How can u choose a Role Model on the fact that they have a man? He sounded 4 wayz from stupid when he spoke on Oprah… All that other stuff was just rambling.. And just like some of u Black men are getting “other” women who know how to “treat you right” black women would rather be alone than deal with some of your dl lying cheating ways..
HELL I may as well say it since we are pumping up stereotypes here! Not all black women are like that just like not all black MEN are like that.. I rest.
I wanna know how he figures that black women are brought up to not trust their men? That isn’t.
