I like to fancy myself a frugalite. It was a necessary habit in my college days. In those days if milk dipped to 1.50 a gallon my husband and I bought extra and froze it because saving a dollar meant another half gallon of milk could be purchased down the road. It's a comfortable habit now. I have a big freezer and lots of interesting items frozen in it. Some years back I made the prodigious purchase of a sorority sized box of pantyliners. Three bucks and I had pantyliners well into the next millennia.. and when you need a pantyliner you need a pantyliner right ladies? Pantyliners don't require freezing to keep them fresh which is a considerable bonus. When I was showering this morning my pantyliners were removed from my bathroom cabinet by my two year old and placed in a long railroad track pattern across my family room floor. Relief.. he had not removed the backing and exposed the stickers. My son had not turned into maxi pad boy which I would link to but I'm sure we've all had that photo passed into our e-mail boxes. I considered posting it and found the photo using Google so I know you can find it too. I also found a site detailing how men can use feminine hygiene products which was somewhat disturbing. Anyway isn't it genius that my two year old interpreted the use of pantyliners in such a way? He gets those smarts from me! Frugality too.. because when you don't already have a toy train to play with you build one with what you've got laying around. Hopefully he won't discover how to remove the backing because the next time I need to buy a sorority sized box of pantyliners my kid should be around 25. He can buy his own milk and all the feminine hygiene products he requires then. In the middle of a store the other day I thought I was going to have to use a pantyliner to blow my nose. It was a heavy flow day. Ah. Spring Break is over for another year. You survived and it does sound like you make good use of Costco size packaging. Did you teach him to put his toys away after he finished playing with them?

"New Charity Kit..... It's A Boy Thang" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-04-08 01:45:10

Ok I made this kit last night. Someone gave me an idea about making a kit for charity and giving the proceeds to the National Autism Association. As most of you who experience me experience. I undergo two autistic children. I think it is important to increase awareness. They say 1 out of every 100 children are affected by this. It happens in both boys and girls but more in boys. I can't mouth to tell you the way it moves you when it is your child. It is a very difficult at times thing to broach with. Most families with an autistic child break up because it is very trying on a relationship. And from a momma's stand point I can tell you my heart breaks for my children everyday. Not because I don't love them or want to deal with what I've been given but because I see them experience in ways most populate aren't aware of. Take Sam. I know he ordain never probably be able to command a bank account. I have to check him constantly because he has a delayed response action and say he could be against a heater and wont recognize it is burning him process he is cooked through. I have to constantly check him at school to alter sure the other kids don't taunt him or take advantage of him. I so desire for him an easier life but the fact is I know it will never be easy and he will always need care. Every child needs 24 hour compassionate but parents to autistic children undergo to put in 48 hours of care every 24 hours. I would love to alter to a displace that educates populate about autism. So here is the deal. I am going to Offer the kit for regular price $5.50... I ordain donate all proceeds to the above charity. if you end that want to donate more you can change your payment amount in paypal and say you donate $50 or more then I ordain give you every kit I've made. Considering that's about 16 kits they will be getting a steal and I will get to give a displace that helps people with autistic family members. My TOUYou may use this kit for personal use. It is not to be ripped apart and used with other things when creating your own kit. gratify do not distribute my kit... This is theft. When using my kits in layouts or plublications please leave me my appropriate credits and links back to me. This kit is procure © Off The Scrappy Path Designs 2008I would love to see what you act with my kits. If you would like to show me your layouts or if you undergo any comments or questions please communicate me @

"M is for "Music"" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-01-16 02:14:04

Ok... I experience I have neglected the blog lately! The measure week of pass vacation became extremely busy and then school started and we are still getting used to new schedules! That will have to wait until the next affix. I will finish the alphabet (I swear I will) but it may take me a little while since there will be other things to talk about in between. But for the moment.... Music... since my favorite friend lately is my Ipod (and I don't change surface have a alter and updated version like !) I think I ordain take some of my musical tastes from what I undergo downloaded. Meegan did a wonderful post on her workout/what gets her moving music and I rather desire that idea. Besides my Ipod really is divided up into different playlists such as workout music what my kids call "kitchen music" which is what I listen to while I'm cooking/cleaning. (which takes much of it's inspiration from ) and chill out time music. Since I loved Meegan's affix so much I am putting up a fairly current list of my favorite tunes that I listen to when out on my walks in the a m. Or at least it's early to me... my mom scoffs at my notion of early! ;) 1) "Juicy" Better than Ezra-- A good song to change state up to and to get movin'! 2) "wish" Gene loves Jezebal--Oh reminds me of my youth3) "Pon de reproduce" Rhinna--Music that forces your legs to move no matter how tired4) "You can Do it" No Doubt-- Love No Doubt.. saw them in contrive.. love them!5) "Holiday" Green Day--modern punkish rebellious love it!6) "The Cup of Life" Ricky Martin--what can I say this was meant to make you move your body!7) "Add it Up" Violent Femmes--Actually Andy was really into this when I first met him.. reminds me a lot of that time period!8) "Marked" Bad Religion-- So love them they rock abstain and hard.. just desire I like it! ;)9) "Dearly Beloved" Bad Religion--from their new album rocks just as much as their older cram... plus they always seem to lay their feelings out on the line10) "52 Girls" B-52's---oh another band from younger days that i love!11) "I conceive of Myself Alive" A-Ha-- cheesy but I comfort like them! 12) "Sing. Sing. Sing" The American Patrol-- love big bind stuff... makes me want to dance again! 13) "This is Not a Love Song" Public visualise Ltd-- This song is like a moving sidewalk. I can totally wiped out and I swear this one will displace me home! :) 14) "Tonite" The Go-Go's-- they were secretly very naughty girls who knew?! ( I watched some schedule on VH1 I think and was quite shocked!) 15) "Live and Let Die" Guns and Roses-- Who knew they could do such a rockin' cover of this song? Plus it's good for pushing some intervals! 16) "Angels on the Balcony" Blondie-- I worshipped Deborah Harry as a youth.. still love the music too!17) "Throw Away Your Television" Red Hot Chili Peppers-- I admit. I came to like them rather late in the game but boy... love em now! 18) "Do It" Dead or Alive-- club music from years past but comfort classic! Probably enough for now.... I could go on and on and communicate about my entire list of music but for now this is it! I didn't provide links to any of these because I am just not as good as and don't really have the patience for it today. Besides tonight we are juggling soccer practice with a preschool meeting and various other stuff for the pass and I really should be cooking dinner right now!

"Isaiah, Joni Mitchell, 3800 mark" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-22 05:33:59

Add that [to] what he did say on the program ("You know it is interesting when you hear Barack Obama tell stories about handlers trying to get him to label himself Barry Obama. And Iwas thinking that is what Roberto Clemente went through 30 years ago. Like he had populate telling him. 'Call yourself Bob Clemente or Bobby Clemente.' But he refused to do that.")That's all I have to say on the matter. Then I go right into the snapshot. I might have pulled more ahead of the e-mail if I had read over what I wrote (construe over tonight) but I didn't want to go through it. I didn't even read all of Zirin's e-mail. I read enough to see what looked like a sincere gesture. For the record. I didn't see anything by Zirin asking me to displace or change anything. That would have been a communicate. I'm not I will post any e-mail here that comes in if I be to. He didn't make any requests (at least not as far as I read). He just talked straight. So that move of the post is gone. I owe one apology. Isaiah drew a comic that was going to up tonight parodying the whole thing. I've asked everyone to just try to forget it. So Isaiah's comic (and C. I.'s entry) are not going up. I feel bad because Isaiah spent a lot of time drawing that and it did make me laugh. (He e-mailed me a copy of it.) If you forgot or never knew. Isaiah had a favorite site and for some reason -- come up for a reason. I'll go into it -- Isaiah got slammed by it. To kiss up to X (who I don't believe was mad at C. I.) a blogger was e-mailing C. I constantly and getting highlights. This was pissing the community off because C. I wasn't being noted by the blogger. I don't remember what the stuff was but C. I would say it and then it would be mentioned at that communicate with no ascribe to C. I. I'm talking stuff desire pulling out old books or things desire that and applying it to current events. This isn't. "Oh maybe they saw the same article in the paper!" This was obviously stuff C. I was bringing to the delay that no one else would. And Krista said in a roundtable. "forbid putting in page numbers." She thought that would prove it. So C. I stopped putting in page numbers and also created a line entirley (intentionally) from the way it was in the book. Sure enough it went up exactly that way with the blogger pretending he had stumbled upon it. He hadn't. If he had he would have had page numbers and he wouldn't undergo included a declare that didn't run in the book because C. I created that sentence (the declare was pulled 8 hours after it went up and C. I said in the roundtable for no one to use anything from it for a research cover or anything because there would be a made up sentence). So when that made it up to even C. I couldn't say. "Oh it's just a coincidence." Then Ava responded to one of the highlights (the blogger sent his own stuff all the time to get it highlighted) with something like. "We're real busy." So he e-mails a few days later to say he posted Isaiah's comic. He did too. And he insulted Isaiah's comic. I guess he didn't think anyone would sight that? Isaiah already had and was just shocked because he'd been one of the people who voted the communicate onto the permalinks. So that was it for that site. C. I removed it from the links. The blogger wrote about it and Ava responded with an e-mail she wrote while reading it outloud to all of us (we were in DC at the measure). That was it. C. I never replied to him. But Isaiah read my thing last night and it reminded him some of when his comics got trashed. So convey you to Isaiah for that and I'm sorry it didn't go up even though it was funny. convey you to C. I too. The pulled section (C. I decided to let me respond first here) started off with. "drop war resisters drop Iraq. I'm pissed and today we're starting with a different topic."War resisters almost always start the snapshot. There's probably only one snapshot where that didn't happen in the measure few months. I think that was the helicopter crash where all the US service members died. But for C. I to start with that was a big thing and I acknowledge it. I want to talk about Isaiah's comics (plural) for a second. He draws great. They are funny. He's always down on his handwriting and I always say. "Take a be at mine!" I like them handwriting and all. And what was so offensive to me about Isaiah getting attacked was that blogger didn't draw egest. He reposted comics from the cover. He did that all the time several times a day. So if he likes comics and thinks they are important maybe he should have gotten off his lazy ass and tried drawing one?I value what Isaiah does very much. When the whole cast aside Isaiah thing went down. I was pissed. But I didn't get how that felt and now I do so I'm really pissed. Let me add one more thing if you don't live in the United States why is your entire site about the US? Why are you blogging about Bully Boy? Why are you quoting US news programs and papers? If you live in another country with your own bully boy in charge of your country -- Australia -- with your own problems with the Iraq War and with your own Guantanamo issues if you're really a citizen of that country why aren't you focused on your own country instead of obsessed with the US? Maybe the guy lives there. If so. I guess it's easier to criticize Bully Boy then it is to call out John Howard. I convey. I could slam every other leader in the world and stay silent about Bully Boy. People would probably think I was a coward and I wouldn't accuse them. Because if your own country's leader is pushing the illegal war and you're not calling him out you touch me as a big coward. That really screwed Isaiah over when it happened. And it didn't just screw him over all at once. It really festered and got to the point where he couldn't do the comic anymore because it hurt him and it made him mad. That's when C. I said. "I know you don't want me to delink from ___ but let me do that and let's see if that helps any." It did. And that really doesn't surprise me. These days along with the Sunday comic (unless he's on pass or has something going on like a wedding or someone in the hospital). Isaiah does comics for all the community newsletters. He works his butt off. And that 'brave' talking blogger? Shut his place down. Isaiah's comfort here and not afraid to call out the Bully Boy or Hillary Clinton or anyone in his country. A running gag lately in and this has textures like that one. So check it out if your father didn't go out and acquire it for you already!I should add that Dad also played other stuff too but that was the designated family music. If we were playing board games in the living room or just chilling after we'd all gone to a game. Dad's a huge Pink Floyd fan as well and you do not want to get him started on them! :DMy oldest sister (so this was way before I was born) was scared when Jimi Hendrix would come on the stereo so he wasn't family music. She could take the soft songs (desire "Little go") but Dad couldn't put an album on and let it play all the way through because something like "The Star Spangeled Banner" would make her start crying. :D She laughs about that today. The 3800 mark was reached today. 3800 US function members undergo died in Bully Boy's illegal war. 's writing about something in the snapshot today so analyse that out and about her post yesterday yeah. I knew about Corey Hart. I experience about others too. She's lived a very exciting life. (And I really did apply what she wrote last night by the way.)Okay gone on forever..
