Shakti is Life itselfIt is present in every rhythmic pulse of existenceA passion for life implies that you are passionIt is in your very beingIt maybe that a student opens up to a path of medium ship and is able to access greater connections to the spirit world. I hasten to add not for the self but for the benefit of mankind. It may be that a doorway is accessed and the student finds an incredible urge to paint creating Mandalas that help other people who require healing through art and meditation therapy. The mandalas themselves create other doorways in which help with the healing and communication to other realms. Or the energy may assist you in healing mankind. Sothe next few weeks I will look in further detail to other methods that assist with the healing and spiritual/ethrical communication and the ascension process. Symbols that will be included within these articles will be the pentagram the star of David the cross the ankh plus many others. You may wish to keep these articles for your own self development. There are some symbols that I would love to share with you all but within Reiki Practises for example tradition has it that the symbols are to be kept secret. However some books and of course the internet have publicised them to enter into the material world. I hold the tradition very much close to my chest and therefore respect the lineage and the sacred teachings. But despite the symbols being brought into the commercial market they have little or no meaning unless one has been attuned to its energy vibration. I will explain further. The cross for example is a symbol that many of us were brought up on. We went to church or were taught in school about the cross and what it represents. Therefore due to your upbringing or confirmation or belief the cross has a significant bearing upon you as well as working as a vibrational symbol for your well-being. Some people have tremendous comfort in wearing a cross as they feel it offers them protection as well as their connection to the source of their belief. But imagine this. Imagine,sense or visualize a pillar of light descending from the heavens running through your being into the earth. Then visualize from east to west a light crossing your heart forming a cross of light. You become an energy source. A pure cross of light. You begin to channel an infinite source of energy to enlighten your being. The cross transmits all energy of truth and power. The cross whether it is the Celtic cross the tau cross the Latin cross or St. Andrews cross to name a few. But it was not Christianity that first used the Cross as a symbol. It was one of the oldest Religions in the world the Pagans. Christianity transformed the Pagan way and took the cross as a symbol to represent the connection to the power of Christ. But if we examine the other worlds other Religions and ways of life we discover that the cross is used in all. The old worlds of India. Persia. Syria and Egypt show examples dating far back as the stone age to modern times. The Tau Cross was known to be used as a symbol of divinity in Egyptian and Assyrian sculptures. The Swastika or Gammadion is a sacred sign in India and China and has an ancient connection through the east. It has a distinct meaning between Buddhists and Brahmins and has been used long before the Christian era came to light. It is unfortunate that Hitler and the Neo Nazis used this symbol as a tool for power. The meaning is to know ones God. Thus if you take the symbol within you become connected with that particular energy source. If practised on a daily basis you are able to begin the path of enlightenment. Remember the power is within. But with that I feel you have to believe and practise this art with intent. I carried out an exercise with some students the other day. I asked them to place images of Reiki symbols under their pillows before they went to sleep. I asked them to become aware of any energy associated with them. This they tried prior to the workshop so they could learn the symbols and mantras associated with them. Interestingly they did not really feel anything or very little. However when they were attuned to the energy of the symbols the power and the light magnified intensely and they felt an enormous difference. They felt a connection to the symbol and the energy. Each of the three symbols carry different vibrations. Through empowerments and meditation they were able to feel the differing vibrations associated with each symbol. It therefore shows that unless you have an initiation or meditative course in developing the connection to a symbol the symbol will not work. And as with Hitler using a spiritual symbol as a tool for power had the opposite affect as the power turned against him in the end. I feel one has to be very careful when working with symbols and energy. The utmost respect must be shown to a hidden energy source that resides within the world today. Over the next few weeks we will be examining the symbols and their properties further. The symbols that I can share with you that is. A man went to a barbershop to have his hair cut and his beard trimmed. As the barber began to work they began to have a good conversation. They talked about so many things and various subjects. Probably at the age of 6 I asked a teacher what came after the moon and the sun and when she replied that she didn't know I spent the rest of the day in total shock that our piers did not know what was out there and if they didn't know that why are they telling me who is God etc. It was a rude awakening and I never looked back and question everything since then and bloomed to freedom. The only part that I was perplexed about was that Tookie William's execution carried out by the American Government which is more or less by the American people depending on perhaps the price of a good lawyer was not for Tookie's good qualities but for taking the life and freedom from another who might or might not have good qualities. You're talking about apples and oranges here. If you're talking about taking his life say what it was for and not that it is so unjust because of a Government that is not tangible but manages to protect someone like myself to be free from the whims of the Tookies. I also find that those who speak out about terrorism are the minority. Most people don't know or give a damn and evade the people who investigate or know more since most people don't have any idea about what is really going on in the Muslim world movement and denial is a great comfort to be free. Knowing too much of anything either makes a person free or captive anyway. Ignorance is bliss and education is freedom depending.... Sorry if this is jumbled. I tried to include all the relevant informationI was out walking my dog and I met a girl. After talking to her for a bit she said that she was really interested in me and gave me her telecommunicate number. We talked long enough to establish the fact that I was in an LTR with a man and that I wasn't interested in leaving it but I was possibly still interested in her. I got the overall impression that she might be threatened by that but it's probably too early to tell. I'm having trouble separating my desire to have a back up partner with my longterm goals of having a third who could fit into my current relationship making it practically rather than theoretically poly. It's not that I expect to meet someone who automatically would be to date us both but I'd desire to cater people where the possibility was open. How to express this to a possible third? It feels obviously unfair to say this to them in advance but it would still be a criteria that fed into my decision to keep dating them in the future. Basically. I've had plenty of chances to have an open relationship but I don't be an open relationship. I want a poly relationship. On the other hand.
