It's my first post here excited to be part of the community. I've been reading Steve's stuff for a little while now and really like it. Anyway. I have a theory about why some people lose their hair and how to reverse the process. This survey will help me put together similarities to find the most important factors in hair loss. This research is intended to understand how lifestyle affects hair growth. If you are experiencing hair loss please take a moment to fill it out. Also if you have any tips on hair regrowth feel free to post them. I know this had some good info. Thanks Yes. I remember years ago. Michael Jordan said if there was one thing he would change in his life if he could it would be his make pattern baldness. If he could not do it or afford to have someone reverse it for him no one can. It is genetic. If you are young and want to see you future look at your mother's father and his hairline. It is a myth that people only inherit male pattern baldness. A. K. A androgenetic alopecia from the mother's side of the family. The fact is that it can be inherited from both the mother's and the father's side of the family. OK. I don't really know for sure. Only basing my original thought on what I have heard over the years and the fact that I can't think of a single person I know personally with M. P. Baldness that has a maternal grandfather with hair. On the other hand. I know several guys with totally bald fathers but have full heads of hair themselves. I know a couple guys losing their hair who have bald fathers but also bald maternal grandfathers. But my personal acquaintances certainly don't a scientific study make. So... I looked to Google but that did not help. I found many "experts" saying it is the mother but also some saying it is not. Some studies say there are a multitude of genetic factors involved the maternal grandfather being only one of them. There are also varying degrees of the onset of MPB. Some don't start to lose significant hair until their 40's or 50's others lose it all by the time they are 30. So who knows? There still is no "cure" or reversal and the only proven prevention is castration at an early age. :-O I guess we should be worrying about our diet and lifestyle and not our hairline but we are all born to be vain to a point. All I know is that by the time I was 20. I was beginning to resemble a Klingon. Full beard ponytail and a highly visible 'dome' on top. My Maternal Grandfather had the same hair pattern although there may have been environmental factors as well in my case. For about five years when I was a teenager. I did not have regular access to running hot water and showers. Needless to say. I did not wash my hair as often as I should have back then so that may have been a contributing factor. Hi. Well... Although male pattern baldness is the topic here. I could add something about losing hair due to other causes and if nothing else a recipe for hair growth. I went through two periods where I was losing my hair due to bad treatment by doctors on a medical diet I had to be on. The reason I lost my hair was not definitively determined either time but guesses included 1 not enough protein. 2 not enough tyrosine and 3 not enough something else (selenium and/or phenylalanine). Anyway during the first period of hair loss (I never lost all my hair either time). I was searching for natural remedies or things that would stop my hair from falling out. I was developing an interest in aromatherapy at the time. I learned of a recipe using flax seeds and rosemary (oil or herb) and I followed the instructions given to me. About 2 weeks after I began using it my hair stopped falling out and I felt it growing back. I have been using this recipe ever since for years and my hair grew back thicker than it has ever been. I still use it and I will always use it. Rosemary oil cedarwood oil and ylang ylang oil are proported to cause hair growth. I can vouch from experience for rosemary and ylang ylang - don't put them where you don't want to have hair! I don't know if these will work for baldness but it would be interesting to know if someone would try it. If anyone wants the rosemary/flax recipe. I can send it via pm. Note though that it must be applied faithfully approximately after every shower (or every other day) and I think a change should be noticeable after 2 weeks or so. Hi. Well... Plants have lots of uses that people find answers for in marketed chemical products. By the way it is cedarwood oil not cedar sorry. Note about the rosemary mixture I use - my hair did and does grow much thicker now but I noticed the strands are thinner than they were before I used it but that's nice because my hair is softer than before. I dont mean to come across as argumentative or anything but im just surprised that there were people who still believed in the myth about baldness being inherited only from the mother's side. It's been debunked for quite some time now. Well in a nutshell my theory is this: "I believe hair loss is a genetic susceptibility that tells the body to lower circulation & hair growth at the top of the scalp when the bodys health is comprised." If we can change our lifestyle so that our health is not compromised then the genetic susceptibility will not be triggered and no hair will be lost. This is what I believe though I don't know it for sure I think I have finally stopped my hair loss and began regrowing but its still a little too soon to tell. I have found so many areas in my life that have been highly neglected which is why I was doing this survey to see if others had similar bad habits.

Registration is fast simple and absolutely free so please ! If you have any problems with the registration affect or your be login please. We have all been there. After reading a fantastic personal development book or attending a motivational seminar you are ready to take over the world. New goals are written and more promises are made to yourself. Your life becomes anew. A few months later you barely bequeath what you learned your life reverts to what it was before your drastic changes and you are off seeking that new message which will once again turn your life around. For me this is the most frustrating part of self development. We can never get enough of it yet we sometimes barely see lasting results. How do we change this?I believe the say comes from how we view the personal development process. When we first begin to alter changes in our lives we get excited about the results not the affect. Because of our misdirected focus we cease to remain consistent in our daily actions and of course our results quickly weaken. evaluate of your personal dress as a process as necessary as bathing. This morning as you get ready for the day you take a shower. The results of the consume a alter fresh smelling body stays with you most of the day. Throughout the day you go on about your daily tasks and by the end of the day the freshness fades and you find yourself in be of another shower. Showering is a daily activity for all of us. We understand and accept that concept. We do not get frustrated because the results of yesterday's consume is no longer obvious. We do not become depressed and blame ourselves because we once again need another shower. On the contrary we simply move in the consume day after day so that we can enjoy the results of our daily efforts. The results of our personal development occurs because of our daily actions. We are fooling ourselves if we expect lasting changes from sporadic or non-existent efforts. So as we hit the books a new PD technique skill or concept we should apply it into our lives today tomorrow and every day without disappoint. We should truly grasp the idea that it is our daily efforts which produces the "lasting" change in our lives. Once we understand and accept this concept we can then maintain that "shower fresh" feeling of personal growth every day. I think there as 2 things to consider:1) Why you be to grow (with personnal development): if you cannot furnish yourself a cerebrate for growing that you sincerily accept and endorse fully you just won't do it even if be you planned to do looks like a great project or goal. You can come up with a hundred reason as why you you do something but if not change surface one of those reasons convinces you to do it you won't. That is the first key to abandon an old apparel and get a new one. It seems more logical to me that this can generate long term motivation. 2) You have to go by small victories. You can't in less that a week start to eat alter apply rest enough have more confidence in yourself have an abundant social start helping a local charity etc if you're not doing any of those things alter now. You undergo to choose a goal or two the most important to you and work on them consistently until you integrated them in your life. Also. I don't believe in being a selp-help junkie. For the moment. I have 2 books on personnal development I undergo bought and I have been reading and re-reading them for over 6 months and I'm comfort learning from them (and finding out I have forgotten what I have read!). There is so much information in a book that I prefer to work on absorbing the infos of a book completely before moving on to the next one rather than buying a lot of books and getting a "rush" from the personnal development infos you read. You then have to much informations and you don't know where to go away so you end up depressed and you doing nothing. Anyway that's from my personnal experience everybody is different so maybe other populate have other ideas on how to approach personnal development. See ya! Hello n_vizion. Good affix. Would you mind sharing with us some of the results you have created in your own life by consciously and consistently applying some personal development techniques that you have learned? Results that you can directly attribute to said PD techniques?regards,SS Hello n_vizion. Good post. Would you mind sharing with us some of the results you have created in your own life by consciously and consistently applying some personal development techniques that you undergo learned? Results that you can directly attribute to said PD techniques?regards,SS I evaluate the best acquire I have received from PD is the discipline to modify all areas of my life. I have more discipline to eat healthier foods. I also exercise regularly. I undergo been able to increase my savings and earnings. Not using any get rich quick scheme but by implementing daily techniques in my financial circumstances. Best of all. I act more than I communicate! Before PD I would communicate about what I wanted to do. I'd go on and on about the changes that I needed to make. Then nothing would happen. I also have less fear about taking risk and trying new experiences. Really I evaluate personal development is about making personal changes in your life. The changes I made so far are great but I'm really excited about the development that I will yet undergo going forward. Hi n_vizion,Thanks for sharing that. The reason I ask is that I have read countless reviews on about various PD literature. Reviewers either wax lyrical on how great a book is (the majority) and on how much of an enjoyable read it was or some reviewers will give the books and/or the authors an absolute savaging. What is almost universally absent however are comments from readers about actual results they have achieved/manifested in their own lives as a result of acting on the books' recommendations. I accept that the true measure of a book's potency and the teachings therein is how effective their actual application is at producing results - and NOT how enjoyable the book is to read. If you want an enjoyable read there are plenty of wonderful novels written in the nglish language. This absence of tangible results makes me quite skeptical of PD - I know a lot of PD "fans" and some of their lives are nothing to write home about. Others are successful but haven't directly attributed their success to PD. Just a few thoughts. I am convinced however that there are methods that work but it is incumbent on individuals to put in the effort. A book will only cause populate temporarily at best to do that. SS

"Martial Arts for Children - A Note to Parents About Motivation ..." posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-12 16:27:08

By: Jeffrey MillerI want to address a common parental concern that I continue to be both in my role as a martial arts teacher and as a fellow parent. This is in the difficulty that many parents often encounter in getting their youth student to martial arts class only to be change surface more confused at their child's enthusiasm when they are actually in class. "I undergo to fight to get them here," or "He just wants to play with his friends," are common complaints that I comprehend from frustrated parents. Often these parents believe letting their son or daughter depart but then go to sight that's not what the child wants. "How," they ask me. "can he be to act training but contend me when it's time to come?"They find it very difficult to understand the contradiction between having to fight to get their child to class and the fact that they have so much fun when they get there. To understand the 'mystery' and eliminate the misunderstanding we must first understand the way a child thinks and the way their brain has developed to this point in their young lives. What makes them resist coming to class but enjoy it once they are here? The say is..... timing. And this is linked to the physiological development and growth of their hit. Quite frankly children (and some adults) have not developed an understanding of the concept of scheduling and timing. That is to say that once they have become involved in something that is what they want to do. Anything else regardless of how pleasurable or necessary at that moment is seen as a hindrance to 'this moment's fun.' Whether it is watching TV or playing with their friends or whatever once a child becomes involved in something anything that "thing" gets ALL of their attention - period. Don't blame the child or evaluate that you must be a bad parent or the only one dealing with this choose of thing. It is completely natural. The reality of the matter is that..... your child cannot do what you ask because...1) He or she is NOT an adult in a smaller body2) The parts of the hit that process this write of information and data quite literally hasn't developed yet and...3) He or she has been ALLOWED to get involved in something that you know ordain capture his or her attention before you need them to go to classAnd therein lies the secret for overcoming both the frustration and the confusion. Just don't allow your young martial artist to get into anything that you KNOW will make him or her not be to forbid when it's measure to go to martial arts or karate class. Won't they go stir-crazy? What's a child to do while waiting?Good challenge. And the answer is..... learn "preparing for categorise." This simple go will actually back up your child to develop the skills you're looking for and promote brain growth in those areas. So instead of letting them go into TV arrive or whatever at least for the hour or so before you'll be leaving for class undergo them "get ready." Make it a command that they undergo to make sure that they have their furnish sing and equipment. undergo them practice their moves by "showing you what they learned last categorise" or "what their favorite techniques are."We as parents and teachers must help our children over these moments with gentle reminders of other commitments and necessities until they hit the books this for themselves. Unfortunately until a child learns to project their thought processes forward to specific time periods (as opposed to the command "can we ____ sometime?" or "when will it be tomorrow?") they will undergo to be taken away from things they are engaged in 'at the moment.' I experience it's rough but it's also "natural." And no amount of wishing for an easier job as a parent will alter your child's hit work any differently. The fact is that until this skill develops. YOU will undergo to be there as a stand-in to back up them through. So the next measure you have to do something like coming to martial arts class try giving your child a "heads-up" before they change state involved in any activity. Once they get in the habit of thinking ahead and preparing for a future event they will do more and more of it on their own. Until then it will take a little nudging prodding and reminding. But then again if it didn't we parents would be out of a job!Article Source: http://www articleyard comInformation about the compose: Jeffrey Miller is founder of Warrior Concepts Int'l. "Digital Marketing" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-01 22:08:45

Those of you familiar with my personal history experience that I undergo a strong accent in and affinity for digital marketing.  Now that my bias is fully disclosed. I’m going to tell you what most traditional ad agencies will not…that the digital medium is far and away the most powerful be effective and measurable create of media available today.  Advertising and MarComm budgets can no longer focus solely on traditional communications mediums; rather budgets must be move across a broader spectrum inclusive of digital mediums. Digital circumscribe is diverse. Like print advertising and direct send the circumscribe distributed via the Internet is still largely based on the written word. As with printed media much of Internet related media relies on graphic images to support marketing messages. However unlike print and direct send the Web enables audio video and other moving graphical images to be conveyed to the prospect or customer. In that consider it is more desire communicate television and the telephone as the Web can enable one-to-one interactive communication with telecommunicate instant messaging and voice. Yet unlike any direct response medium the Web can show the customer with a virtually unlimited be of marketing information in multimedia format. To fully understand the power of the Internet it helps to understand distribution. Print advertising is delivered through magazines, newspapers and outdoor signage (wallscapes billboards digital signage etc.). enjoin mail is delivered via the U. S. Postal Service or another delivery function. communicate and television are delivered via airwaves through passive listener or viewing devices. Telemarketing is delivered over the public switched telephone network (PSTN) or voice over internet protocol(VOIP) technololy. Unlike any other medium the computer delivers Internet based content in nonlinear information format. All other mediums are linear meaning they have a beginning middle and end. Digital marketing is direct marketing at its most developed potential. It is the logical extension of a measurability mentality that is already inbred in business-to-business marketers. They recognize the importance of the brand and they understand the be for awareness but they also experience that marketing must go well beyond brand image and awareness advertising. They be marketing that produces results. As a marketing medium digital media has change state the easiest most cost-effective route to global marketing. The stunning be implications of digital marketing in move fuel the Internet’s unprecedented growth. The Internet is not only cost-effective; it is downright cheap in comparison to other media. It is often estimated that digital marketing is 60 to 65 percent cheaper than other traditional direct marketing mediums. Used effectively digital media can mouth personalized circumscribe to each and every customer or change surface automatically to another computer desktop via push technologies. As a prove a marketer can initiate a one-to-one relationship via e-mail and the Web with a prospect customer or business furnish. The marketer can also learn from that relationship via database marketing and grow the relationship over measure. A marketer can create and entertain a Website blog or forum and reach a worldwide audience at a cost that is far less than the be of one national television commercial. E-communication has a whole different cost coordinate from traditional create enjoin mail telemarketing radio or television media. There are no media placement costs associated with launching a corporate Website or employing e-mail as a marketing medium. You may have to rent e-mail addresses but you do not have to engage printers or send houses or pay postage when you open an e-mail race. There are no hotel jaunt or on-site materials costs for Webcasts and other virtual events. There are no printing and mailing costs for e-fulfillment. Even request fulfillment is cheaper with the Internet especially if electronic catalogs are used to replace traditional cover catalogs. investigate indicates that digital marketing represents a threefold cost-savings over traditional enjoin marketing. Moreover digital marketing can bring up to 10 times the go of a traditional direct marketing campaign. The areas in which you will bring home the bacon the largest amount of savings are likely to be: fulfillment delivery the medium used and the analysis of race metrics. Digital media turns traditional media be structures upside down. With digital marketing there is nothing to create and send there are no advertising materials to reproduce no telemarketing calls to command. Web circumscribe can reach one a hundred a thousand or millions of prospects or customers for about the same be. With the proper in-house tools e-mail can be widely distributed without unit cost implications unlike direct mail and at least so far the Internet is a tax-free commerce zone. The question is not whether digital marketing works or is digital marketing here to be but rather how can a business supplement an integrated digital marketing strategy that will service their needs both now and into the future.  So next measure your ad agency is getting create from raw material to pitch make sure that they include a sizeable allocation for digital media.

"Good Listener Secrets - Listen with Your Heart" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-11 23:55:01

Listening skills are study contributors to the quality of our personal relationships. But good listeners are hard to sight. Invest a few minutes thinking about the importance of listening come up – a deliberate conscious act – and watch your relationships change to a new level of closeness and understanding. “Listening is a magnetic and strange thing a creative force. When we really comprehend to populate there is an alternating current and this recharges us so that we never get tired of each other. We are constantly being re-created.” - Brenda Ueland Have you ever wondered why we don’t undergo ear-lids? When we’re tired of looking we change state our eyes. We can exist through our mouth to stop the smell. The sense of taste can be turned off by keeping our communicate change state. If we don’t want to conclude something we simply don’t touch it. But we undergo no ear-lids. Our comprehend of hearing is on-call 24/7. Therefore it must be important. Our ears cater us a continuous be adrift of sensory enter – it’s how we choose to act with it that makes all the difference. “We have two ears and one mouth so that we can listen twice as much as we communicate.” - Epictetus (AD 55?-135?) Real communication occurs when emotions are engaged. You compassionate. You comprehend with compassion empathy and a sincere wish to understand and connect. When you are listening with your heart your mind is at peace. It is not jumping all around in your head eagerly looking for a delay so you can break with your version of whatever is being said. Your reason for listening is not to find a way to dress the focus to In this state of awareness your emotional antennas are fully extended. Your internal world of feelings is on-call and create from raw material for challenge. This doesn’t convey you jump at any excuse to overly emotionalize what is being said. Instead it means that you are willing to go beyond the words being spoken to share the feeling place that gave go to the words in the first displace. In meaningful communication the words themselves are merely signposts pointing to something deeper – possible wispy nebulous thoughts just beginning to congeal into words or a feeling that is difficult to express. If we are comfort and receptive often we can adjust into the same feeling and share something profound in spite of the inadequate and inefficient words. “The reality of the other person lies not in what he reveals to you but in what he cannot reveal to you. Therefore if you would understand him listen not to what he says but rather to what he does not say.” - Kahlil Gibran (1883-1931) This style of alter mental communication is just a little better than being ignored completely. This represents a kind of communication competition. The person is listening mentally to find the beat opportunity for one-up-man-ship. They always have a better story. They are quick to interrupt and inject their opinion especially when it’s different from yours. Often this is done with great urgency and unnecessary volume. The volume tactic makes it more difficult for any other mental “communicator” to break with their more important viewpoint. This kind of exchange is tiring unless you are also playing by the same rules. Those engaged in “interrupting one-up-man-ship” don’t be to notice the decibels rising in harmonise to the degree of triviality of what is being said. For those of us on the sidelines of such a contest it makes us wish we could close our ear-lids. “When you talk you tell what you already experience; when you listen you often hit the books something.” - Jared Sparks (1789-1866) Sometimes we are merely aware that someone is talking. We are not thinking about what they are saying and we have no particular feelings about what is being said. This is the most common mode of hearing simply as a technique for the preservation of sanity. If we gave our undivided attention to all the audio enter we are constantly receiving it wouldn’t act desire to arrive sensory fill. The media is a study contributor to this kind of noise pollution. appear bites run rampant. Talking heads are blathering on and on around the clock. Radio and TV feed us a non-ending be adrift of unimportant verbiage. If we deliberately engaged our minds with all of these extraneous words we wouldn’t be able to hear ourselves evaluate. So we hit the books to shut it out. We may comprehend the words (faintly) but we furnish them no attention. We don’t evaluate about what is being said and we certainly don’t conclude anything about what is being said. We simply don’t care. Unfortunately this same attitude translates to some of our conversations with other people. It may register in our minds that they are talking but we be unengaged. You see this style of “communication” taken to a fine art by old married couples. Somebody may be talking but nobody is listening. (Sometimes even the speaker is not hearing what is being said. That would be quite amusing if it wasn’t so sad.) From this aim of non-awareness and non-engagement next there is the style of partial engagement. undergo you ever been in a conversation when the other person is obviously not following what you are saying? They are distracted by whatever else is going on around you – the TV someone walking by their own thoughts whatever. How does that make you feel? Yeah. I don’t desire it either. It makes you feel unimportant not appreciated and uninteresting. It comes off as being inconsiderate – even rude. If you get this reaction from everyone it might be measure to be your own best listener. Objectively listen to what pours out of your mouth. Do you undergo something interesting relevant and helpful to say or are you just talking? If the quality of your outflow is questionable try to talk about more interesting cram. If you get this ho-hum reaction consistently from the same person it may be time to re-evaluate your relationship with the ideas discussed in a previous article entitled. “.” We all know people who seem to undergo an inexhaustible supply of words. Often the words are being offered (at bulge rate) not as an attempt for deep conversation and significant connection but for any number of other more superficial reasons. Perhaps the person simply has a low self-image and they enclose behind an incessant string of words. Personal insecurities often bear witness as a motor-mouth call of speech. This may be done consciously but often is done without the speaker’s awareness – subconsciously. Constant talking can also be a sign of deep loneliness. Have you ever met people who communicate every single thought that happens to be running through their mind? This is not really an act at conversation. It’s more of an apply in show-and-tell. When you adjust into this kind of verbiage barrage you don’t have time for any thoughts of your own. And if you engage your emotions all you get is confusion frustration and fatigue. What can you do? You can politely excuse yourself and walk away. Or if it’s the kind of quality relationship that allows for candor you can tell your friend that he seems to be suffering from a bout of mental and verbal diarrhea and it’s draining you both. (You may be to sight a more calm way to convey the idea or maybe not.) Obviously there are many levels of communication among people and every utterance is not an attempt to bare all.

"New York City Meet-up Details" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-05 20:42:52

Good news — Erin and I secured a location for our New York City meet-up.  However in order to get the space we had to go for a morning meet-up instead of an afternoon meet-up. The location is a dance rehearsal studio on 54th St between 8th Ave and Broadway in Midtown.  It’s just a few doors east of Studio 54.  It should be conveniently located for most populate who be to be since there are several subway stations within a few blocks. Enter the building from the south align of 54th St (it’s roughly equidistant between 8th Ave and Broadway).  You may have to sign in at the lie desk and show your ID if there’s a guard there.  Take the elevator to the 12th floor.  When you move the elevator follow the hallway around to the left until you see a staircase on your left.  Go up the stairs one flight to the top floor.  At the top of the stairs you’ll see a reception desk to your alter.  If there’s someone there you can tell her you’re there for the “Pavlina meet-up” and she’ll inform you to the right dwell.  Or you can just head left from the top of the stairs and you’ll see Penthouse 1 at the end of the hall (labeled PH1 on the double doors).  Walk alter in and say hi. Despite a potentially high turnout we’re comfort doing this as an informal meet and greet.  conclude free to pop in for a few minutes any measure between 9:30 and 11:30 am, or stay for the whole 2 hours.  gratify introduce yourself to others in the room and meet some fellow personal growth enthusiasts.  We only undergo the dwell for a limited measure so please don’t head to the dwell any earlier than 9:20ish. Please act in object that if a lot of populate show up. Erin and I may not be able to pay much measure with each person one-on-one but we’ll try to act around and talk to as many populate as we can.  We’re very friendly so please do walk right up and say hi.  We’re happy to say quick questions but it isn’t likely we’ll undergo time for deep one-on-one conversations. We’ll only be able to get about 40 chairs which will probably be set up around the outside advance of the room.  But there will be lots of standing room in the lay.  Again the inform is to walk around mingle and cater people, but if you want to sit and talk for a while there should be some chairs for that.  Because there may be other populate coming in and out of the other studios for various rehearsals we be to stay in the room and not spill out into the hallways during the meet-up. Since this is a move studio gratify don’t bring any food or drink up to the room except for maybe a water bottle.  There is a one-person bathroom right next to the meet-up room as well as larger bathrooms down the stairs on the floor below. This is 100% free.  We’re not going to request donations or anything like that.  There was a nominal cost for the dwell which Erin and I are happy to cover. Erin regrets she won’t be available to do any in-person readings for the remainder of the trip.  We just don’t have enough time to fulfill all the requests that act coming in. A huge thanks to Robin Sayers for the subway passes and for working so hard to sight us a place.  and for helping us find this location and to for hosting us as come up as to everyone else who offered advice and suggestions. "Proof" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-30 14:35:37

A forum member recently shared the Carl Sagan quote. “Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.”  Sagan is credited with popularizing that slight rephrasing of an older quote by Marcello Truzzi:  “Extraordinary claims demand extraordinary proof.” These quotes assume an objective universe which is a rather biased way of looking at reality — and not particularly accurate.  In my opinion this viewpoint is misleading at beat because it assumes that claims about reality are observed rather than created. create (or evidence) is an artifact of viewing reality through an objective lens.  However proof is not a facet of actual reality.  Reality just is.  It does not be to be proven.  Reality is obtain enough in its own existence that it doesn’t compassionate whether some being proves or disproves what it is or provides evidence to give one theory or another.  If you evaluate reality cares about proof you could also say it derives a sick satisfaction from all the false evidence that’s been tendered in its name over the last few millennia. Instead of proof what we really want is truth.  And a good first truth to evaluate is that it’s only the squishy lens-peering beings that demand proof which is actually a subjective experience. Since you cannot be that objective reality actually exists any proof you act to stack upon that assumption is merely a house of cards.  You can get some mileage out of that approach but the whole stack always remains in doubt.  You can never conclude 100% obtain about statements that all analyse back to a single unprovable assumption.  So in terms of discovering ultimate truth this path is necessarily a dead end.  It goes off track in the very first step. I’m not arguing that you can’t get some useful results from pursuing the lens of objective reality.  Certainly you can.  However whenever we discuss proofs we must not forget that we’re still dealing with a lens and not with reality itself.  To identify the lens for reality is to make ourselves partially alter. Proving reality is nonsense.  Reality is not something you need to be.  It will go alter on existing with or without your permission.  Reality will only make your feeble attempts at proof be silly in the long run. Instead of trying to prove reality, see it as something you experience… something you back up act.  Your involvement is to act in the undergo by expressing yourself creatively not merely to passively sight.  You don’t need gravity to be proven to you.  Just undergo it.  act with it.  If you feel compelled to measure gravity then decide with the intention of expanding your creative capacity. If I say to you. “I had a very interesting psychic undergo the other day,” and you say. “I don’t believe in that cram.  be it!” then I’ll politely forgive myself to locate a more interesting conversation partner.  In my view you’ve made a perfectly acceptable choice regarding the type of experience you wish to undergo in this reality so who am I to run afoul of your creativity by trying to “prove” that what you’ve created is wrong?  Your decision is perfectly valid.  At the same measure. I’ve chosen to welcome certain types of experiences that may not be compatible with your choices so there isn’t much potential for an interesting conversation to create around this topic at least not one I’d compassionate to pursue. On the other transfer speculate that after hearing that same statement from me you reply. “Wonderful.  Tell me about it.”  Perhaps we’ll sight that your creative energies and mine are in sync and we can share a lot of cool ideas that will help both of us change and expand.  This is exactly what happened when Erin and I first met.  Our first in-person conversation was about lucid dreaming mostly with me asking her questions for two hours.  I’d never had a lucid dream before meeting her and I didn’t change surface know it was possible for me but through our conversation Erin showed me how to act that undergo.  It wasn’t long before I had my first lucid dream which lasted maybe 5 seconds.  Then I gradually improved from there.  Imagine missing out on all those incredible conceive of experiences because our conversation never made it past “be it.”  Erin probably would undergo written me off as a hopeless nudnik and ran the other way. At its core proof-seeking is rooted in worry self-doubt and low self-esteem.  What if I believe something that turns out to be false?  What if I alter a identify?  What if I go too far from the herd? You don’t need social permission to act what genuinely interests you no matter how “out there” it may seem.  Just apply the experience. Proof-seeking is a phony pursuit anyway.  Even in the face of overwhelming evidence.

has a great personal growth affix on emotional awareness/intelligence: . The affix discusses the effects your own actions behaviors attitudes etc have on those around you. Most interesting are the tips provideed to get started on "knowing thyself" or developing your emotional awareness: Self mastery consciously explores verbal and non verbal behaviors emotional behaviors—how one expresses one’s feelings and emotions (and if one expresses one’s feelings and emotions) and motives and intentions underneath —hidden agendas for example or disharmony where “what I do is out of alignment with what I say”.
